Home Care Assistant

Role Summary

Home Care Assistants and our Communal Living Assistants are responsible for providing support to Core Members. They create a feeling of home and family for Core Members and others living in the household. They work in collaboration with their home’s team to ensure the well-being, growth and development of Core Members’ lives in accordance with Shekinah’s principles, values, and Essence of Life philosophy. Home Care Assistants are expected to connect well with all Core and team Members and respect those who put their trust in them. They will support and advocate for Core Members in all aspects of daily living. Home Care Assistants are reliable people who take initiative in the home, continue to broaden their abilities, and participate as valued members of their home team and the Shekinah community.
